GECYCLE - A circular Economy

Did you know that we use 102.3 billion tons of resources, food waste equating to 1.3 billion tones? The circular economy is a concept that avoids waste and keeps materials in use and replenishes the natural resources. We need to aim to move away from the ‘take, make, dispose’ consuming mentality. The model illustrates how a circular economy can be achieved by collectively making conscious decisions from start to finish; working iteratively to reduce waste going into landfill.

At the Good Eating Company, we understand that we can make a difference in reducing food and associated waste from the moment we procure, to operations and outputs. We have developed ‘the waste journey’ as we’re constantly improving the way we operate to benefit our environment.
