No trip to New Orleans would be complete without a traditional Po-Boy Sandwich! Filled with lettuce, tomato, pickles, roast beef, fried shrimp & oysters served between two long pieces of French bread with delicious NOLA sauce or mayonnaise.
I’ve have travelled to so many places but there is no food like home. All my best memories & the food I miss the most is from the North of Spain; the dish is called Mariscada Gallega, in Spanish this is translated as ‘Seafood party’
The best travel food memory, was an amazing dining experience in 2011; a holiday with my girlfriend in the Vanuatu Islands. It wasn’t a fancy place but we had dinner on the beach and ordered a gigantic coconut crab to share. It was cooked in coconut milk with chili & lime with a side of rice. The meal was delicious & the atmosphere made the experience fantastic! You can’t beat eating fresh seafood with your feet in the sand whether it’s in Asia or Europe…
