Did you know that our Talent Manager Ulrike Schmidt has a special skill in teaching Yoga? She’s been holding live weekly classes on zoom Monday and Wednesday’s. Here’s a quick insight into her classes…
Starting with a warm up and core activation exercises, then postures working to reduce tension and release stress, while building strength and flexibility. We will work on stretching, bending and twisting the spine. Relaxation between poses to allow the body to absorb and re-energise during class.
Yoga Nidra can be described as conscious deep sleep. It is a simple yet profound technique whereby the practitioner lies in a comfortable position whilst listening to the facilitator. You will explore your body and breath and use your senses to observe and welcome every aspect of your being, leading the body and mind to a deep state of relaxation. It is a practice which helps regular practitioners solve many problems of the body and the mind, allowing them to find inner harmony and resolution.
